Join me on Sunday 4th December for a walk through History to get you into the festive spirit.
Every year Sherborne holds its Festive Shopping Day on the first Sunday of December.
Pop in to town and you’ll find carollers, market stalls, food and drink, entertainers in the streets and many of the shops open.
Stay until the end and you can see the Christmas lights being switched on!
Best of all, you can come on a Festive Walk around the town with me!
Did you know, for example, that Charles Dickens was a regular to Sherborne, and that Sherborne House was the setting for one of his first readings of ‘A Christmas Carol’?
Join me on Sunday 4th December for more History and festivity, starting from outside the Tourist Information Centre at 2pm.
